Ted Tsukiyama oral history interview, part 5 of 6, September 25, 1999
Ted Tsukiyama talks about his experience during the China-Burma-India Campaign. Instead of continuing his military service in the Occupation of Japan, he decided to return home to Hawaii to continue his college education. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University, then continued onto Law School at Yale University -- he was the first Japanese American student accepted at Yale. He talks about his private practice in arbitration, as well as his family. He is currently working to preserve the Nisei veteran story by working within the National Archives.
