Description

Ted Tsukiyama talks about his transition from the 522nd Field Artillery Battalion to the Military Intelligence Service. After graduating from the Military Intelligence Service Language School, he was assigned to a team that was sent to Florida for Signal Intelligence training. He was then sent to the China-Burma-India Theater, where he was assigned to intercept Japanese communication during the Fall of Michina. He describes his first experience seeing a captured Japanese soldier.
