Ted Tsukiyama talks about Questions 27 and 28 of the loyalty questionnaire that all Nisei, both in Hawaii and in the concentration camps on the Mainland, had to answer during the outbreak of war. He talks about the history of the Hawaii Territorial Guard (HTG) and the Varsity Victory Volunteers (VVV), and the creation of the Japanese American segregated military unit. He also talks about the Nisei experience in America during wartime.
