Description

Matsumoto returns to the topic of his grandfather and his days working as a contract laborer in Hawaii, before coming to the mainland U.S. Following this discussion, Matsumoto describes the living conditions during his time at the Santa Anita Temporary Detention Facility, as well as his day to day life in the camp, including his time working in the mess hall. Concluding Part 2, Matsumoto describes how he came to join the Military Intelligence Service and discusses helping officers with their Japanese language skills.
