Description

During this portion of the interview, Thomas Haga talks about his military experience, namely his embarkation and personal travels to the India-Burma Theater. Next, we hear Thomas discuss interrogating prisoners of war, as well as returning from the war as A.W.O.L. In addition, Thomas discusses his military experience working with the Military Intelligence Service, as well as the end of the war and his experience returning to the United States. From here, Thomas gives further details about his return to the United States, as well as his visit to Los Angeles, which left him in military prison for a brief moment. Next, Thomas discusses returning home to Japan and his family's reaction to his return. What's more, Thomas talks about his work experience in Japan, where he would eventually meet his wife. Lastly, we hear about Thomas' education post-war, as well as his work experience and details regarding starting a family.
