Description

Ito discusses memories of his mother and the difficulty of receiving a job when returning to Los Angeles. After being drafted into the Army, he first went into medical training, before volunteering to serve in the officers' mess hall, and later being accepted into the Military Intelligence Service. He describes how he met his wife and her studies in Japan, and concludes by discussing his interrogation training and an experience while serving in Saipan.
