Description

In this segment, Sadami "James" Okada begins a new day of interviews by reintroducing himself and providing some background information. Okada then recalls his time on a troop ship headed to New Guinea and how men would pass the time during travel. He then begins speaking about his duties as a member of the radio intercept group with the Military Intelligence Service (MIS). Lastly, Okada recalls some of his experiences from serving in the Philippines, especially a surprise attack from Japanese troops.
