Genro Kashiwa oral history interview, part 5 of 6, October 31, 2001

In this video clip, Genro Kashiwa describes the Rescue of the Lost Battalion. He was a member of L Company in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, which was one of three companies (I Company, K Company and L Company) that was sent to rescue the Lost Battalion. After the rescue, he and his company were sent to the Champagne Campaign, and later to fight at Arno River. He also describes his experience fighting on the Gothic Line.
