Description

Konno discusses meeting his wife while in graduate school; and tells stories regarding their interracial relationship, including experiences with prejudice. He then talks about his children and grandchildren, and passing on Japanese culture and values to them; and discusses Nisei legacy and the formation of the 442nd in regards to education and racial relations. Lastly, Konno talks about Saddam Hussein, and the differences between the Pearl Harbor and September 11th attacks.
