Description

Mr. Hayashi begins the interview by discussing a few aspects of wrestling including how he learned his wrestling skills, what it was like being a state champion, and putting on fake wrestling performances for the Forty & Eight Club. Mr. Hayashi next talks about what he was doing on the day of the Pearl Harbor attack and how the city reacted towards the Hayashi's, being one of Grand Junction's few Japanese- American families. Mr. Hayashi concludes by speaking about attending Colorado Mesa College, where he was a member of the student council.
