Oliver Hayashi oral history interview, part 1 of 8, October 5, 2005

Mr. Hayashi introduces himself and offers some background information about himself and his family. Mr. Hayashi speaks at length about his parents, why they came to his hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado, their occupations, and where they were from in Japan. Mr. Hayashi also describes his childhood, his neighborhood growing up, and the ethnic makeup of his hometown. Mr. Hayashi concludes by talking about attending school and his high school wrestling career.
