Description

Mr. Hayashi discusses the morale of his unit after facing heavy combat in France. Soon after this, the unit would return to Italy to join up with the African American 92nd Infantry to help with the offensive campaign. Mr. Hayashi goes on to discuss the differences between Hawaiian and mainland soldiers and talks about V-E Day. Returning home to Grand Junction after the war, Mr. Hayashi talks about meeting his first wife and his career in real estate.
