Description

Nishijima recalls his families forced removal to Santa Anita Temporary Detention Center and then to Granada (Amache) Concentration Camp. He describes the living conditions at camp and how he obtains a job as a truck driver while living there. When Franklin Roosevelt passes away, Nishijima leaves camp and finds employment. He discusses children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and how proud he is of them.
