Description

Nakada gives details about his early work experience, namely working as a farmhand. Next, he discusses his brother's education and time spent mining for silver outside of Las Vegas. Next, we hear about his experiences working in Alaska, and of his close friends. Nakada also recounts the Attack of Pearl Harbor and the effects of the event. He discusses being drafted into the Army, as hearing about his parent's forced removal and incarceration at Heart Mountain and Gila River. Lastly, we hear about Henry's experiences during basic training, and his time spent in mechanic school and the Army's motor pool.
