Description
In this segment, Matsuji "Mutt" Sakumoto first recalls meeting Jack Wilson, a member of the "Lost Battalion," at a military hospital. He elaborates, stating that he and Wilson had remained in touch for several years after the war ended. Sakumoto proceeds to talk about not sharing his war experiences with his family before ending the interview with advice for the future generations of Japanese Americans.
