Description

In this video clip, Irving Akahoshi discusses being drafted into the military before the war began. He describes what he remembered from the attack on Pearl Harbor. Upon his return to Schofield Barracks, all of the Japanese American recruits were separated into the Hawaiian Provisional Battalion and shipped to Camp McCoy.
