Description
Kimura discusses meeting his wife while living in Japan as a soldier and then marrying her as a civilian. Next, he talks about becoming a civilian translator, working for double the pay after being discharged from the Army. He would return to the United States, settling in Los Angeles so that he could raise his daughter there. He quickly talks about facing discrimination during and after the war. Finally, he gives a message for future generations to listen to their parents and their teachers and talks about the legacy of the Nisei.
