Description

Harry Kuga begins the interview speaking about his family background and living in Wyoming and Colorado. His mother would run a popular Japanese restaurant, while he and his siblings attended school, Japanese language school and played sports. During his childhood, he would be involved in many different sports, including baseball, kendo and judo. After high school, he would join his good friend Paul Tani and work on the railroads for Union Pacific Railroads. Next, he speaks about the Pearl Harbor attacks and the local reactions to the bombings.
