Description

Mr. Sako describes memorable teachers throughout his school career, whom left both positive and negative impressions on his life. He goes on to describe his and his parents' reaction toward the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Mr. Sako concludes by discussing the restrictions on travel the family had, limiting their trips to Salt Lake City, as well as the restrictions he faced as a Japanese American trying to serve in the military in some capacity.
