Description
In this video clip, Thomas Takemoto talks about his experience in Japanese language school -- he was placed in the highest class. After graduating from high school, he was very active in social clubs at the YMCA, and even helped create the Senior Y Club. During his childhood, his favorite activity was fishing for hammerhead sharks with his brothers -- they would sell their catch to the fish markets for money. In high school and college, he was required to join the ROTC for two years. He talks about his college friend who was blackballed by the Big Five in Hawaii.
